Lunkita had made herself quite aware that she had walked into a territory that smelt thickly of Coyote and other predators. The brown female moved with a purpose alone the bank, picking her way around large rocks and sharp sticks. The female moved with a sense of grace, but it wasn't always perfect. Despite her like to swim and track down prey, she was a bit clumsy. Today would be a great day with the sun shining down on her back but she was here on another purpose. The female neared the rocky cliffside and climbed the boulders resting herself on one of them as she gazed over the land below, Bone Canyon in the distance does played in the fields below, but Lunkita wasn't inclined to hunt. She just....wanted to enjoy the view for the moment before a bear showed up to hunt the fish in the stream. She honestly didn't have a plan for her day, but she did feel rather lonesome and wondered who she might run into today.

She was light footed as the the river pulsed beside her. Over one rock and then the next, she felt like air as she made the long journey back to her makeshift den. Idalia thought to head directly west, for that was the fastest course, but heard tell of the caribou herd migrating southward. She simply couldn't resist the opportunity to take a peak, even if she may not have the time to hunt them.
The thing about caribou is they're quite easy to smell. They leave a lingering potent aroma which, along with the many many tracks in their wake, became easily identifiable. Amaryllis moved gracefully along the slippery rocks, careful not to let herself fall in the water. Oh, that would be a terrible incident, for sure! In front of her, the river took a slight bend and as she came around the corner, the lingering back of the herd became visible. They were scattered to the cliffs which hugged the river, the water itself and into the green forest; they were everywhere!
"What a sight... Oh, Velya! You made it out here too?" Did she like Velaya? Not particularly, if the she-wolf meant to be honest with herself. But from here, she could see the dark silhouette and the size alone left her to think this was a member from her birthpack. The smell didn't fit correctly, but as she pursued the lurker, Idalia reminded herself it'd been a year or more since she saw Velaya and thus, her memory had weakened.
But the light was quick to glimmer in the wolf's eyes, a lavender gaze slowing her to a stop. She adjusted her stature and made her apologies quickly, "I'm very sorry, ma'am... you're not who I thought you were." Valeya's eyes, she did remember, were distinctly blue

Lunkita had focused so much into the suns warmth that she had nearly jumped when a voice made herself known behind the large female. Lunkita wondered who it was but she was so relaxed that her instincts hadn't even registered that the female of mixed browns was indeed a stranger.
She took in the sight of the she wolf a rose to her full height shaking head, chuckling as she did so. "No problem at all." She responded. "I must have an unknown lookalike." She mused, trying to lighten the she wolfs embarrassment. She raised a paw to her chest as she spoke further. "My name is Lunkita."she pointed at the she wolf with her raised paw. "And you?"

As the stranger stood up and joked about having a lookalike, Idalia couldn't help but breath a sigh of relief. It was nice to see someone else with a good sense or humor and not a stick up their butt. "I'm Lunkita," She smiled at this and gave a polite nod in order to show her understanding. At the question of her own name however her ears dipper back for a moment. Was it safe enough to give away personal information, especially her name? Idalia knew her brother wouldn't be far behind her and surely asking those around if she'd been spotted. Although she didn't like it, a lie it would have to be for now.
"Well nice to meet ya Lunkita, I'm Camille" Hey, not the best fake name, but it would certainly have to do for now. In an attempt to avoid any questions on the matter, Idalia lowered her maw down into the stream for a moment to take in a refreshing sip of water. Afterwards she refocused her attention back onto the girl in front of her with a raised eyebrow. "So Lunkita, what brings ya out here? Pack life? Adventure? Booooys?" She wiggled her eyebrows at the last comment and let out a soft laugh.

Lunkita nodded in return to learning the girls name but couldn't help but notice the amount of time it took her to respond. Nevertheless, she was glad her actions seemed to coax the she wolf into relaxation from her moment of embarrassment. Lunkita watched as the female sat down and asked the reason for Lunkitas trek. At the mention of boys, Lunkita couldn't help but laugh at the mention of boys. "I like to think I'm the one to be chased, not the other way around." She chimed then added, "But I wouldn't mind the idea of chasing a strong brute myself. It would make for a nice tail spin." she winked at Camille, feeling good that they were hitting things off quite smoothly.
After she regained herself, Lunkita responded with a more serious answer but not without the same upbeat tone she shared with Camille. "I'm just taking a walk, really. The cliffs here make for a nice scenery down below. Its one of my favorite places to sunbathe on a fine spring day like this." She tilted her head. "What about you?" She narrowed her ees suspiciously. "Are you chasing after a boy?"

A bird sang, its tune repetitive and melodic as it greeted the day. Soon, the lone bird was joined by many, and together, they rejoiced at the beautiful scenery before them. A single beast was seated near the waters edge, his haunches settled evenly upon the soft earth. The air was warm and inviting, coaxing the male to rise from his position within the dense vegetation and move at a languid pace along the bank in search of the perfect place to bask in the sunlight beneath the heavenly canvas. The brute found unforeseen solace in the feel of the earth beneath the broad pads of his paws, a stark contrast to the terrain back in his homeland; Magma Falls. With each lengthy stride, the lupine traveled further onwards, head lowered to the sodden bank to inhale the piquant odour of rival predators. Confrontation was not high upon his to-do list, so he hoped the day would pass without unpleasantries, with the rising and falling of the sun.
Skorvius hefted a sigh. It was not a common occurrence for the one-eyed male to leave the comforts of his home to travel into unfamiliar territory. Yet there were only so many days one could endure the simplicity of a consistent routine before the desire to experience something new and exciting would prove too tempting to ignore. He was yearning for an adventure, and he hoped Chrystal Lake could offer him exactly that.
[Vomits forgive this mess I haven’t done wolf role-play in over a year so bare with me pls.]

The tactic seemed to work and the girl could feel her muscles began to relax. They were on equal terms now that she allowed herself to become smaller and more vulnerable. Idalia held no ill-intentions toward the other female and wanted to convey that. She was pleased to see Lunkita open up a little at her mention of boys. It made the conversation much less of a hassle. “Me? Chase around boys? Hah, I agree with you, hun.” Idalia chuckled lightly. The cords of laughter were smooth and velvety as they rolled off her tongue. While she loved the attention, the girl knew better than to become some half-wit over men. "I like to say I have them chasing me." She winked playfully.
Idalia allowed the moment of silence to gaze around the rest of the area. It certainly had a great bit of beauty to observe, and although she was biassed to prefer her homelands, she could see herself hanging around here for a bit. As her green gaze scanned the area, a new scent drifted into her nostrils and peaked her interest. A male. “Well, well, look what we have here,” She cooed back to Lunkita as she gazed ahead. "Must be one of my many boys who just long to get after me." The was a strikingly white form looming in the distance. It held the feature to be canine, but due to her uncertainty in the area, the chance of it being dangerous was also possible. It didn't seem to bother her, however. If there was doing to be a danger, she'd deal with it when it came, but in the meantime, there was some fun to be had.
"Oh whoo hoo! Over here!," Idalia called out to the stranger with a wide grin. Her tail wagged with excitement as her orbs flickered back to the other female, hoping to see her just as stoked about the newcomer. Little did she know, something else had entered the area and was watching the group... carefully...

Lunkita smiled in agreement. "I don't think we would be caught in a mans trap if we were to watch each others back." She winked back. The female knew of a few males that had tried to grab her attention, but Lunkita was rather picky and it wasn't muscles or ego that drew her to a male either. She normally kelp that fact to herself and wouldn't even share it with Camille. As they sat there, she noticed Camille seemed to be attentive to something. The scent traveled lightly into Lunkitas nostrils before they spotted the white male. First think Lunkita noticed was his missing eye. She stood and made herself more wary of her surroundings.
She flicked her ears as Camille called the male over. Lunkita herself lowered her head to level with her back, ears erect as she watched the newly found stranger. Male, indeed, and a stranger. His demeanor set Lunkita on edge even if he didn't mean any harm. A yowl pulled Lunkitas gaze from the male to see a Cougar coming near them. 'Great...' "So much for the nice day." She could help but sink into a look of irritation as she glanced at her newly found companion. Lunkita didn't know if the male wolf was friendly and now a cougar was nearing. Lunkita could only hope the big cat would keep its distance.

The brute quickened his pace. Limb followed limb — each movement leaving shallow indentations in the soil. Skor’s salmon hued tongue rolled from between his jaws as saliva gathered upon his jowls and swung like ornamental pendants. His travels had exhausted his physique and he was eager to find a suitable place to rest his spent limbs. He hoped that would come sooner rather than later.
Shadows casted by the towering trees nearby sent dark spots across his white coat, contrasting against the crimson red of his orb which swept once up towards the overhead canvas, searching for a sign of the time and finding none. The sun was hidden but light was not. Sunspots danced over the mossy ground, jovially almost as the sky above the canopy of branches moved and shifted with the clouds.
The one-eyed male was far too distracted to notice the pair of wolves chatting animatedly just meters ahead. And far too slow to react in time before he was spotted. A cordial, cheerful voice called to him, inviting him to approach the pair. He was hesitant, however, slowing his pace and halting rather abruptly. His eye widened marginally in quiet surprise, head lowering instinctually to align with the level of his shoulder blades. Alert. His single ear abruptly flickered to smooth itself against his skull. To think he once assumed the day would be uneventful. The Gods just loved to prove him wrong it seemed.
A concoction of anticipation and excitement crawled across his bodice. It had been a long time since the male had been in the presence of a fellow wolf. This alone coaxed the canine to set aside his reservations and approach, settling himself a few meters away. His hindered eyesight would be his downfall, completely oblivious to the predator lurking nearby. The pair held his full attention, his mannerisms remained cautious. “The Hell’s going on over here? A damn fiesta—get-together or something?” The male spoke flatly, though there was a hint of amusement in his voice. He cleared his throat, he couldn’t recall the last time he had heard his own voice. The gruffness unsettled him. “I suppose this is the part where we push unpleasantries aside and introduce ourselves. I’m Skorvius,” he rotated his singular ear in the direction of the strangers and inclined his head, “do you two have names I can put to your faces? Or would Stranger #1 and Stranger #2 suffice?”
