As you may know by now, Souls of Redemption is like a game of sorts, but don't fret, members will still be able to enjoy the freedom of roleplaying. In fact, you will only use the dices for things such as Duels, Quests, Hunts and, of course, the Daily Dig. There will be other opportunities to use the dice, but let's clear up a few things. The dices will not control any outcomes in the roleplay except produce obstacles or damage during hunts or duels.
Type of Dice There are different dices based on their usage. Members will need to put in the Range for the dices they wish to use. After clicking the dice image in the toolbar of the editor in the far right bottom corner of the editor, a box will display with numbers in it. The box only accepts numerical entries. So your entry will look some like 1-20 or 200-550 as examples. View the table below to learn more about dices and when to use them. |
NAME | DESCRIPTION | RANGE | USE | ATTACK DICE | A dice that determines the damage given to an opponent. | 1-20 | Duels, Hunts, Quests | DAILY DIG | Offers a random chance of rolling a needed item from the store that members get for free! | TBD | View Daily Dig Topic | PREDATOR DICE | Determines the outcome of the predator you choose to hunt or encounter. | 21-30 | Hunts, Quests, Exploring | PREY DICE | Determines the prey you may hunt or encounter. | 31-40 | Hunts, Quests, Exploring | ENCOUNTER DICE | Determines the encounter you may face while exploring. | TBD | Exploring | STATS DICE | Role 3 of this dice to determine the starter stats of your character. You can only roll this one time per character. | 1-20 | Character Set-up |
Some dices will have the option of being rolled together. For example, if you are Exploring and roll the encounter dice and roll a predator, you'll then need to roll the predator dice to see what predator you encountered. Vise versa for rolling prey. Remember that outcome status is up to you, as you control the NPCs yourselves, the dice simply help with surprise effects. |
